Yoshihiro Togashi himself is currently in a daily battle with relentless back pain, making it impossible for him to sit down and craft the Hunter x Hunter story.
According to industry insiders, the upcoming issue of Weekly Shonen Jump will provide information about Yoshihiro Togashi's Hunter x Hunter manga, with a special showcase starting on October 28 in Japan. The sources also bring forth a message from the author, revealing the extent of his back pain, which has even hindered the artist's personal hygiene routines.

Yoshihiro Togashi writes:
'We are pleased to announce the upcoming opening of Yoshihiro Togashi's 'ENIGMA' exhibition. On this occasion, I want to extend sincere gratitude to all those who have read the series and shown me love and passionate support.
I'm sure many have thought, 'No, continue the story immediately.' I couldn't sit in a chair to draw for about two years, but I tried to persist in my work by abandoning traditional methods. Everyone, check your backs. Until two weeks ago, before writing this, I couldn't maintain personal hygiene and had to shower after every heavy outing.
Each of my movements takes longer than normal, ranging from three to five times. The back is crucial. Therefore, I especially advise that when you drop something, you should pick it up in a proper posture.
[Currently, I can only draw in this position], the author explains, accompanied by a small drawing to illustrate.'

As we all know, Hunter x Hunter was once considered a top name in the Japanese manga market. Its reputation and quality were deemed no less than other top manga titles such as One Piece, Naruto, Bleach... The series was created in 1998 and has undergone many postponements in publication. To this day, the series remains incomplete due to the author's health issues.
