(Homeland) - This is the sole character among the early League of Legends champions that hasn't received a complete visual upgrade.
Just a few days ago, Riot Games announced their plans to enhance the visuals of two champions, Lee Sin and Teemo. These two are among the first 18 characters to appear in the game League of Legends (LMHT) when it was initially released in 2009.

With the aforementioned visual upgrade projects, 99% of the first League of Legends champions have had their appearance changed, along with updates to their story. Cases like Fiddlesticks, Kayle, Sion... witnessed Riot also changing the majority of their skills and playstyle. Particularly, in the case of Ryze, this champion underwent numerous reworks of his abilities.

However, among the early champions of League of Legends, there is still one character that has undergone almost no changes in appearance. That character is Jax, whose in-game appearance has hardly changed since 2009. The only significant difference is that Jax now has additional animations for his E - Counter Strike ability.
Despite not undergoing significant changes in appearance, Jax still possesses an 'identity' that aligns well with the current state of League of Legends. Some Jax fans even jest that this champion has an ability that provides 'Dodge,' allowing him to escape all the changes from Riot.

Judging fairly, Jax still possesses an appearance that aligns well with League of Legends, so Riot doesn't necessarily need to alter this champion. Even when showcased in other games like TFT or Legends of Runeterra, Jax doesn't differ significantly from his appearance in League of Legends. Perhaps the current look of the Grandmaster at Arms will remain closely associated with League of Legends for many more years to come in the future.
