(Thethaovanhoa.vn) - In the Pre-Season version, Riot Games will introduce or adjust numerous items. Here are the top 3 names expected to make a triumphant return to the Summoner's Rift.
The Pre-Season 2022 update is set to roll out globally, promising the most exciting experiences for players of League of Legends (LMHT). Aside from the cuddly companion feature supporting the Jungle position, Riot Games is also adding and tweaking numerous items. Among them, some names have previously appeared but were removed by Riot Games due to balancing difficulties. Let's take a look at the 3 most anticipated items by the LMHT community after making a comeback to the Summoner's Rift.
1. Shojin Spear
The Shojin Spear item has appeared in League of Legends and was removed by Riot Games in version 9.23. Previously, this item allowed players to use basic abilities (Q, W, E) with a very short cooldown after activating their ultimate. Therefore, champions like Jax and Renekton could unleash tremendous power by efficiently utilizing the effects of the Shojin Spear.

In the upcoming Pre-Season phase, the Shojin Spear officially makes its return to the Summoner's Rift. However, the item's utility is somewhat different from before. Specifically, the Shojin Spear now provides lower cooldown stats but does not require players to activate their ultimate to benefit from its effects. Additionally, players also gain increased movement speed if their own health is depleted.
Hence, the Shojin Spear remains a superb item for the group of Physical Fighters relying on their abilities. For instance, Renekton becomes more powerful when equipped with this item as the Desert's Fury needs quick ability cooldowns. With additional cooldown stats, players can almost continuously use Cull the Meek (Q) and Slice and Dice (E) to approach targets. Moreover, the added movement speed further enhances the agility of this champion. Additionally, other champions like Jax, Wukong, Tryndamere, etc., also suit the Shojin Spear very well.

2. Hydra's Fang
Recently, Hydra's Fang has become one of the weakest items in the Summoner's Rift after Riot Games reduced its lifesteal stats. Currently, the basic additional stats do not correspond well with the price of Hydra's Fang, prompting Riot Games to make changes to the item.
In the upcoming Pre-Season 13, players can receive additional stats for the item when killing minions, jungle monsters, or enemy champions. In addition to the basic stats, players will now receive 0.6 attack damage and 0.1% lifesteal for each stack. The item can stack up to 40 times, equivalent to 24 attack damage and 4% lifesteal. Compared to the current state, the new Hydra's Fang significantly outperforms in power, justifying its cost of 3300 gold.

However, players will lose half of the stacks upon death, similar to the effect of the Bloodthirster item in Season 3. Hydra's Fang is suitable for the Split Pusher group, including Camille, Fiora, Jax, etc., so the loss of stacks does not greatly affect the champions' strength. They only need to spend a few minutes to regain the lost stacks. If stacked to the maximum, Hydra's Fang will provide players with 89 attack damage and 14% lifesteal, a superior figure compared to other complete items in the Summoner's Rift.

3. Staff of Vitality
The Staff of Vitality has existed for many years in the Summoner's Rift, deeply embedded in the childhood of countless LMHT gamers worldwide. This item was impeccably designed by Riot Games, providing players with stats on health, energy, and magical power. Due to its lack of weaknesses, the Staff of Vitality was removed by the publisher to make way for the Mythic items. However, all Mythic items for Mages pale in comparison to the Staff of Vitality of the past.

That's also why Riot Games wants to revive this item in the upcoming Pre-Season 2023. However, when using the Staff of Vitality, players will have to sacrifice power in the early and late stages of the game. Specifically, the Staff of Vitality requires time to accumulate stacked stats after each minute, affecting the early game phase.
Furthermore, this item's effect doesn't unleash breakthrough power in the late game stage. Some other items like the Crown of Ruin, Hextech Rocket Belt, Rabadon's Deathcap,... will possess stronger effects than the Staff of Vitality after the 35th minute of the match. Therefore, the timeframe for the item to maximize its power falls between mid-game (20th-35th minute).

In the past, many champions faced disadvantages when the Staff of Vitality was removed, such as Ryze, Cassiopeia, Kassadin,... In the upcoming revival of the item, these champion groups will gain many advantages to stabilize their offensive and defensive capabilities.
The aforementioned champions all possess good scaling characteristics over the course of the game. If using the Staff of Vitality, the item will help the champion group perform well in mid-game skirmishes. When the item is no longer strong in the late game, the champions' scaling continues by replacing the item to continue shining.
