1. Ta Nang - Phan Dung
Spanning over 50 km, the Ta Nang - Phan Dung route traverses 3 provinces: Lam Dong, Ninh Thuan, and Binh Thuan. It's renowned as one of the most beautiful trekking routes in Vietnam. Explorers on this route not only trek through forests and climb passes but also cross streams and descend from an altitude of 1,100 m to 500 m above sea level. This area transitions from the highlands to the coastal region of Central Vietnam.
Typically, trekking Ta Nang – Phan Dung offers two paths. The first, following the trail along the high hills out of the forest, takes about 2 days and 1 night. This route is relatively easy but has many junctions. The second path goes through the waterfall and out of the forest, taking 3 days and 2 nights. This is also the most dangerous route, especially slippery during the rainy season.
Describing the pristine beauty of Ta Nang mountain, walking in the first rays of the new day with the lingering mist on the hillside will make you feel like you've stepped into a paradise in the lower realm. Amidst the deep mountains and forests, everything seems to slow down. Surrounded only by trees, flowers, and the chirping of birds, the scenery is completely different from the noisy, bustling outside world.
This is also the ideal route for trekking enthusiasts who want to find peace, immerse themselves in nature. However, it's advisable to go in a group of 10 or more with local guides. Ta Nang at night is also an ideal place for photography enthusiasts to capture the Milky Way band.


2. Bidoup – Núi Bà, Lâm Đồng
Embark on a journey to explore the Lang Biang – Núi Bà Plateau in Lâm Đồng, don't forget to conquer Bidoup – the mountain peak known as the “roof” of the Central Highlands. Discover the flora, experience the red maple season on the Bidoup Route, and admire the beauty of nature. Have you ever thought you would be awakened by the sound of forest birds in the dreamy morning, or see squirrels, wild boars, and jungle fowl running around looking for food? If not, then trekking to the summit of Bidoup, the highest point in the Lâm Viên Plateau at 2,287m above sea level, will be an excellent choice for you.
The journey begins through pine forests, across rivers and streams, where the Đa Nhim River originates, connecting Lâm Đồng with Ninh Thuận, and into the primeval forest with its unique and diverse ecosystem, including rare and precious flora and fauna such as the Yellow-throated marten, Gibbons, Douc langurs, Vampire flying frog, Mi Langbiang snake, 1,300-year-old Pơ Mu tree, Langbiang azalea, and many species of orchids…
If you are a first-time mountain climber with moderate fitness, you can choose the itinerary for the first day from Route 723 to the campsite near the summit, and on the second day from the campsite to the summit of Bidoup mountain, descending to the foothill at Long Lanh. The scenery along the conquering journey is very beautiful, with pine hills, waterfalls, vegetation carpets,… that will make you forget your fatigue.


3. Fansipan
Not only the highest in Vietnam, Fansipan is also the highest mountain in Indochina, a conquest goal for adventurers. With a height of over 3,100 m, you can conquer this mountain through various routes. The easiest route is from Tram Ton to the summit and back, taking 2 - 3 days. The second option takes about 4 days with a distance of about 19.5 km, starting from the 'backbone' of the Hoang Lien Son range. Also starting from Tram Ton, but the return route follows the Muong Hoa valley, Cat Cat stream, along the eastern slope of the Hoang Lien Son range.
If you explore in the 'traditional' way, without using cable cars, you will need 2 - 4 days to move. The route from Doc Mit, Binh Lu to the summit is very difficult, it is a dangerous journey and only fully equipped professional mountain climbers should attempt it. The area is mainly steep rocky cliffs, extremely narrow paths, vertical rock piles, slippery, and there are also many snakes, so think carefully before choosing to explore this route.


4. Núi Chúa – Ninh Thuận
Some have described Núi Chúa – Ninh Thuận with affectionate words like: “The African silhouette in the heart of Vietnam.” This is because here not only features the characteristic harsh climate of Africa but also lush tropical forests with hundreds of species. Núi Chúa in Ninh Thuận is increasingly attracting trekkers, young people passionate about exploring the strange and diverse nature, including forests, hills, and beaches, rivers, and streams.
Núi Chúa is a mountainous area located in the Northeast with a height of about 1000m including the main peak Chúa Anh and many surrounding peaks. This place gathers a diverse range of wildlife, making it an ideal destination for adventurers passionate about studying natural creatures. Especially, Núi Chúa will bring you a wonderful space amidst the vast sea, lush green forests.
According to the sharing of trekkers, conquering Núi Chúa is not an easy task, but what could be more wonderful than immersing yourself in the wild, tranquil space of nature, wading in the cool water, exploring mysterious natural caves, right?


5. Cát Bà National Park, Hải Phòng
Visiting Cát Bà tourism, you will experience a variety of tourism activities, from sea to forest. Cat Ba Island - where the sea and forest meet to create a rich natural complex with many valuable plant species. Trekking activities through Cat Ba National Park, Hai Phong are increasingly attracting tourists both domestic and foreign when coming to Cat Ba. Cat Ba National Park is located 60 km from the city center on Cat Ba Island, Cat Hai district, this trekking spot cannot be missed for young people passionate about exploration.
You can choose the appropriate time to trek Cat Ba National Park from April to October, during this time you can fully experience mountain climbing or explore the diverse ecosystem. Spanning over 15200 ha, Cat Ba National Park is ideal for the development of many fauna and flora species. Cat Ba National Park has been recognized by UNESCO as a world biosphere reserve, where you can see countless characteristic limestone forests, caves, streams, waterfalls flowing into the sea.
In addition, Cat Ba National Park also attracts by its historical values of human. Archaeological relics found indicate that humans may have lived in this area from 6000 to 7000 years ago, worth exploring, right?


6. Sapa Villages
Trekkers always whisper to each other that if you want to love and understand more about the land, the people of Sapa, you cannot miss the trekking journey through the villages here. The journey through the villages will not be difficult, so everyone can experience it, but for those who are new to Sapa, they may encounter cultural differences here.
This journey is considered by trekkers as one of the meaningful trips, bringing a lot of knowledge, understanding. 7. Tả Liên Sơn – Lai Châu
Mount Tả Liên Sơn is located in Tả Lèng commune, Tam Đường district, Lai Châu province. The mountain, with a height of 2,993 meters, is one of the highest mountains in Vietnam with majestic mountains and lush primeval vegetation. This place witnesses the efforts and conquests of many trekkers. It can be said that the journey to conquer Mount Tả Liên Sơn is a meaningful journey for any trekker.
Tả Liên Sơn is known as the 'fairy tale forest' with a poetic, beautiful scenery. The rich, primitive vegetation with ancient trees, the red maple leaves falling every autumn, the green moss carpets,... are images that will linger in your mind.
