For anime fans, a collection of favorite character figures is a treasure trove worth billions.

While for many, spending hundreds, even millions of dollars on an anime character figure may seem frivolous, they might reconsider when looking at the value of the following figures.
1. Megumi Kato Figure - $19,000 ~ 447 million VND
Megumi Kato is one of the main characters of the anime Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend and is also one of the most expensive anime figures today. The reason Megumi Kato's figure is so valuable lies in its scarcity. Aniplex only crafted 10 of these figures to scale, identical to real people. With only 10 figures in the world, the value of each figure continues to soar.
2. Astro Boy Figure - $25,000 ~ 589 million VND
The only life-sized Astro Boy figure in the world is categorized as an extremely rare collector's item. The figure, modeled after Astro Boy's appearance, still lacks a fully assembled face. The LED lights in the figure's eyes are still functional and have become part of Japanese anime history.
3. Momo Belia Deviluke Figure - $27,000 ~ 636 million VND
Momo Belia Deviluke is a character in the anime To LOVE-Ru. Max Factory has undertaken the task of crafting life-sized figures for Momo. Similar to Aniplex, Max Factory only produces 10 figures worldwide. The limited quantity along with the accurate scale model makes the cost for fans to own this Momo over 636 million VND.
4. Gundam RX-78-2 Figure - $200,000 ~ 4 billion VND
This Gundam RX-78-2 figure is expensive because it does not use ordinary materials. It is made from solid gold. Gundam Converge has preserved the original design of the Gundam robot. The figure stands 125mm tall and is meticulously crafted down to every detail. This is also a figure sought after by many collectors.
5. Gundam Figure in the Art of Gundam Exhibition - $200,000 ~ 4 billion VND
Tanaka Kikinzoku Gem Company ventured into crafting anime figures. The company created a small, adorable Gundam Converge figure made of solid gold. This figure was crafted for display at the Art of Gundam exhibition in Tokyo.
6. Monkey D. Luffy Figure - $200,000 ~ 4 billion VND
When One Piece Gold was released, Tokuriki Honten introduced the world to the most expensive anime figure in history: the Monkey D. Luffy figure made of gold. Not only shiny on the outside, this special Luffy is also crafted from solid gold. While very few people have the financial ability to purchase this figure, it remains one of the most beautiful figures ever crafted for the One Piece anime.
