From Langham in London to Burchianti in Florence, these are two of the most famous hotels known for their colorful and eerie stories.
Langham Hotel, London (UK)
The Langham Hotel, officially opened by King Edward VII in 1865, has hosted many famous figures such as America's greatest humorist writer - Mark Twain, the Irish literary giant - Oscar Wilde, and the Scottish writer - Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. However, it is also a frequent haunt for ghosts.

The most famous mysterious story is about the ghost of a man in room 333, who seems to only appear in October. Other guests have also claimed to have seen a man in military uniform standing by the fourth-floor window, believed to be the ghost of a German prince who jumped out of the window before World War I broke out. Additionally, there are rumors of the ghost of Emperor Napolean III, a former guest, haunting the hotel's basement.
