In Killzone, Helghast hails from the distant planet Helghan, a world far from Earth. Originally a violent race, they aspire to sow war and havoc throughout the universe. Players witness the Helghast invasion of Vekta, another planet, and the ruthless pursuit of innocent civilians.
Functioning as a rogue military conglomerate, the Helghast are led by deranged, specialized leaders who have warped the minds of soldiers to serve dark interests. It is a militarized planet with the idea of universal domination, and with its dark aesthetic, the Helghast are truly a formidable extraterrestrial race.
