What is a Combo?
Each hero in Hero Chess possesses at least two attributes and falls into a specific category (e.g., Assassin, Human, etc.). Collecting heroes with the same attributes grants additional abilities that can be applied to them individually or the entire team. These attributes are the combos that determine whether you have the strongest formation in the game, helping you defeat opponents quickly and with minimal effort.
Acquire combos by assembling at least 2 heroes of the same type (possibly more), and to reap rewards, reaching higher thresholds grants more powerful bonuses. Combos are automatically activated when heroes of the specified Race or Class are deployed on the chessboard.
Compilation of the Most Powerful Hero Chess Formations
1. Assassin + Beasts
- Deploying 3 Assassins: All Assassins receive a 15% critical hit chance with 300% damage.
- Deploying 6 Assassins: All Assassins receive a 15% critical hit chance with 400% damage.
With this Assassin formation, you can combine it with the Beasts tribe to increase the basic damage by 10% or 15%, depending on how you want your formation.
2. Warrior+ Beast
- Deploying 3 Warriors: All warriors on the field gain +7 Armor.
- Deploying 6 Warriors: All warriors on the field gain +15 Armor.
Combining the Warrior formation with Beasts creates a formidable force. Two of the Beast champions are also Warriors, making it convenient to build this combo. The damage is increased by an additional 15% with 4 Beasts and 9 Warriors, making the destructive potential of the combo fearsome (except for magic).
3. Knight + Dragon
- Deploying 2 Knights: All Knights have a chance to shield and reduce damage by 30%.
- Deploying 4 Knights: Knights have a chance to shield and reduce damage by 60%.
- Deploying 6 Knights: Knights have a chance to shield and reduce damage by 90%.
Combining the Knight formation with the Dragon tribe in Hero Chess creates an incredibly powerful combo. At the start of the match, Dragon units begin with 100 Mana, allowing the main characters of both Knight and Dragon to transform. This is considered the formation with the best damage and defense (the drawback being the high-cost units, challenging to assemble).
4. Other Combos
Apart from the three formations mentioned above, players can also utilize other formations like 9 Elves (increasing evasion rate against physical damage by up to 75%) or Titan + Mage (dealing magical damage from Mages and turning enemies into stone when attacked by Titans) ... there are many other combos that gamers can adapt and combine to create a strong formation.
