Hà Giang's White Rock Wall resides along this small section of the Ma Pi Leng Pass. However, the motorbike-accessible stretch is only about 3km long, after which you'll have to trek an additional 2km. It's worth noting that navigating this motorbike route isn't easy due to its narrow, winding, and precipitous nature. With one side plunging into a deep abyss and the other towering rock walls, if you're hesitant, it's advisable to cover the 5km journey on foot.
The starting point of this journey is the Museum of the Road of Happiness. Here, we must park our motorbikes and proceed on foot, or for the daring, an additional 3km can be covered by motorbike. Along this stretch lies the famously treacherous Death Stone Cliff, though for safety reasons, tourists are no longer permitted to venture there.
Next, we'll ride down into the valley below, continuing until we reach the Quan Ba Twin Mountains. Taking it slow, we'll spot a small turnoff that leads to a lookout point offering a panoramic view of the Ma Pi Leng Pass. From this point on, it's a trekking journey all the way.
From the lookout point area, visitors can check-in and admire the Nho Que River and the stretch of pass below. Here, we can also take a break and gather our strength before continuing the trek to the White Rock Wall. Upon arrival, all the fatigue and hardship seem to dissolve in the face of this stunning panorama.
