The upcoming iPad's Magic Keyboard introduces a sophisticated aluminum top coverSpecifically, Gurman notes that the area surrounding the keys on the new Magic Keyboard will be crafted from aluminum, similar to the casing of the latest models, enhancing durability. Apple genuinely hopes these changes will address criticisms of the current version.
The outer shell of the keyboard continues to utilize a silicon material and comes with a single USB-C port. However, Gurman suggests that the redesigned use of premium materials may push the price of the new Magic Keyboard to $299.
The redesigned Magic Keyboard is anticipated to make an appearance alongside the next-generation iPad Pro models next year. These premium iPads are rumored to feature an upgraded design, high-quality OLED displays, a powerful M3 chip, and internal storage of up to 4TB.
