The Text Prediction feature operates by suggesting text that users can input next in real-time based on context and Machine Learning, helping to save time and reduce spelling and grammar errors.
The Text Prediction feature will enhance text editing efficiency by saving time.
After the feature is deployed, when users start typing text in Word, grayed-out text suggestions will appear on the screen. Press the TAB key to accept or ESC key to reject these suggestions.
Microsoft has stated that they will gradually enhance this new feature to ensure it aligns with users' language styles and preferences, while also helping to improve spelling and grammar errors.
It's worth noting that the Text Prediction feature is currently in development and is expected to be rolled out to Windows users at the end of next month. Additionally, it's unclear when the new feature will be available to Word users on macOS as well as the web application version.
