(Homeland) - Threads has surpassed 100 million registrations in just five days since its launch.
Mark Zuckerberg announced on 10/07 that Threads had reached over 100 million registrations within five days of its launch. This achievement propels Threads ahead of ChatGPT to become the fastest-growing online platform in the world.

'It's primarily a natural demand, and we haven't even implemented any promotional programs or incentives for people to sign up for Threads,' Zuckerberg said in a post on Threads announcing this significant milestone.
According to a study by UBS, Threads has reached over 100 million users much faster than ChatGPT owned by OpenAI.
The way Threads operates is quite similar to Twitter and many other social media platforms that have emerged in recent months. It allows posts up to a maximum of 500 characters and supports posting links, images, and videos up to 5 minutes long. Mark Zuckerberg may soon introduce some new feature updates for Threads.
This app also lacks direct messaging functionality and lacks a desktop version, which is essential for certain user groups, such as business organizations. Threads also lacks essential social media features, such as tagging, keyword search, account switching, post editing... This limits its appeal to advertisers.
However, analysts note that the chaos at Twitter could inadvertently help Threads attract more users and advertisers in the future.
