Reliable sources have recently shared this exciting information.In Bloomberg's 'Power On' newsletter on Sunday, journalist Mark Gurman revealed that Apple's upcoming fall lineup will feature three models in the Apple Watch series. These include the Apple Watch Series 9 in 41mm and 45mm sizes, along with the second generation of the Apple Watch Ultra.
Gurman reiterated a previous rumor that the next generation of Apple Watch will see a 'significant performance boost' with the use of the S9 processor. While the S7 to S8 update didn't bring as much performance improvement as users hoped for, Gurman affirms that this will mark the first time since [previous generation] that 'significant speed enhancements' will be introduced to the Apple Watch lineup this year.
Gurman had previously stated that this S9 chip might be based on the A15 Bionic. The journalist also asserts that the release will bring substantial hardware changes along with the launch of watchOS 10.
