Xiaomi has recently been spotted working on the upcoming Redmi Note 12R Pro 5G, slated for release soon. The smartphone's launch timeline and key specifications have been disclosed by the Chinese company.

In a recent update, Xiaomi shared a teaser confirming the specifications and battery capacity of the Redmi Note 12R Pro 5G.

Specifically, the latest teaser confirms that the next member of the Redmi Note 12 series will feature a premium AMOLED display. It sports a flat design with a punch-hole cutout in the center of the top bezel for the selfie camera. This display also supports a 120Hz refresh rate, has a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits, and a slightly thicker chin.

Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Note 12R Pro 5G will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. This smartphone features a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C charging port, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset.

The Redmi Note 12R Pro 5G is also revealed to have a dual-camera system on the rear, including a 48MP primary sensor and color options of Gold, White, and Black. Unfortunately, the pricing information for this smartphone is still undisclosed.
