As Kang Gary admires the dawn in the old town, he boldly declares Hoi An as the ultimate travel paradise.
Hoi An's rural scenery leaves Korean celebrities enchanted during their visit.
Kang Gary, the renowned Korean rapper and former member of the popular reality show Running Man, is currently on a trip to Hoi An with his family. Opting to stay at a hotel on the outskirts of the city, the sight of the sunrise prompts the singer to say, 'If this isn't paradise, I don't know where paradise is,' in his latest travel Vlog.
Hoi An is witnessing an increasing influx of international tourists. On weekends and holidays, the city gate experiences hours-long traffic jams. At times, capturing a satisfactory photo in the crowded ancient town becomes a challenge. However, for those seeking a simple and authentic rural life experience, choosing hotels on the outskirts, as Kang Gary did, is the way to go. The singer previously visited Vietnam for a show in 2013, but this marks his first visit to Hoi An, purely for leisure.
The serene outskirts offer a peaceful setting, completely different from the bustling crowds in the city center. Awakened by the early morning crowing of roosters, strolling along village roads to admire the sunrise behind bamboo groves, breathing in the fresh air, and mingling with the locals. All of this is enough to lighten your mood.

Most hotels and homestays here offer rustic meals tailored to guests' requests. You don't have to go far to savor local specialties like Quang noodles, Cao Lau, or delicious fresh seafood and fragrant grilled street-style meat. Life in the countryside flows slowly, providing a sense of relaxation. Therefore, this is an ideal place to unwind after a stressful workweek.
As Hoi An is not large, renting a bicycle to explore the village is both affordable and convenient, especially during the period when motorbikes are restricted in the ancient town. Some suggested activities in the outskirts include rowing a basket boat on the river in the seven-hectare coconut forest, trying your hand at farming, and buffalo riding in the Tra Que vegetable garden—quite interesting experiences.

In recent years, Hoi An has become one of the most attractive destinations for international tourists in Vietnam. The hashtag 'travel to Hoi An' is always a popular topic on Korean forums, and many Korean celebrities choose to visit this place whenever they want a winter break or escape from the 'hot as pepper' summer in the land of ginseng.
