has appeared on the Geekbench database revealing specifications of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is set to have 1 core clocked at 3.3GHz, 3 high-performance cores at 3.15GHz, 2 cores at 2.96GHz, and 2 low-power cores at 2.27GHz.
Note that although the performance cores on 8 Gen 2 differ (A715 and A710), they run at the same clock speed. 8 Gen 3 runs two clusters at different clock speeds, it is not currently known whether these are two different cores. ARM has introduced Cortex-X4 cores, A720, and A520, which are expected to appear on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
The core configuration of 1+5+2, or more accurately 1+(3+2)+2, follows the setup ARM envisioned when designing these cores. X4 promises 15% higher performance with equivalent power or 25% power savings with equivalent performance. X4 is expected to have a clock speed of 3.4 GHz, similar to the current 8+ Gen 2 chip for Galaxy.

There is always the possibility that some performance modes may have increased maximum clock speeds. It is also unclear whether this is the chip “for Galaxy” – reportedly extended the agreement with Qualcomm into next year.
Even if not, the increase over Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy is quite significant for a generation, +12% single-core and +26% multi-core. Single-core performance still lags behind the A16 chip, but multi-core scores are better.
