To use Google Maps with voice-guided directions, firstly, you need to download the latest version of the app:

* Set Vietnamese as the language for your phone
If your phone is set to Vietnamese, proceed to the section below to set up voice-guided directions on Google Maps. For phones set to English or other languages, follow the instructions below:
- Step 1: Open the Settings app. Swipe up on the screen, tap on 'System'. Then, tap on 'Languages & Input'.
- Step 2: Press 'Languages' then tap 'Add a Language'.
- Step 3: Swipe to find and select 'Vietnamese (Vietnam)'. After selection, the system will return to the previous interface with Vietnamese added as a language. At the top right corner, tap on the three-dot icon.
- Step 4: Click on 'Remove' when it appears. Then, click on 'English (United States)' and tap the trash can icon. Your phone will now switch to Vietnamese language.
* How to use Google Maps voice-guided directions
When your phone is set to Vietnamese, follow these steps to use Google Maps voice-guided directions.
- Step 1: On your phone, open the Google Maps app. At the top, tap on the Search box and enter the address you want to go to. The system will then provide suggestions. You can choose one of those suggestions.
Note: If you open Google Maps for the first time after installation, the app will ask you 'To continue, turn on device location using Google's location service', click 'Ok'.
- Step 2: Once Maps has determined your destination, the map will be displayed. At the bottom corner, tap on 'Directions'. Now, Maps will show the route on the map, click 'Start' to receive voice-guided directions from Google.
The voice-guided directions feature will be activated for you.
