Thanks to XDA forum member jarari2, a one-click root tool for LG G3 has been developed. You can easily root your LG G3 using this tool in just a few seconds. It's worth noting that besides rooting the G3, you can also use this tool for other devices like LG G Pro and LG G Pro 2 running Android 4.4.2. This root tool has been successfully tested on various versions of LG G3 including the Korean version (F400K) as well as international versions (D855), Sprint G3 (LS990), Verizon G3 (VS985), AT&T G3 (D850), T-Mobile G3 (D851), and G3 Canada (LG-D852).
The Simplest Guide to Rooting LG G3
Prerequisites before rooting:
- Download the one-click root tool here.
- Download and install LG USB Driver.
- Activate USB Debugging on your LG G3. You can refer to the guide on how to enable USB Debugging here.

Rooting LG G3:
1. Extract the root_tool_lg_g3_taimienphi.vn.zip file on your computer and open the folder you receive after extraction.
2. Connect your LG G3 to the computer via a USB cable.
3. Now double-click on the run.bat file.
3. When the command prompt window appears, press any key on your keyboard.
4. Your G3 will reboot into stock recovery mode.
5. When you see the Recovery screen on your phone, select apply update from ADB. (Navigate using the volume up/down buttons, select with the power button).
6. Then press any key on the command prompt window. The root.zip file will be pushed to your device.
7. Now return to the main menu of Recovery and select reboot system now.
