The Stonethorn and Update 27 DLCs are now on Xbox One, bringing a host of new stories, challenges, tools, and enhancements to The Elder Scrolls Online RPG, including:
- 2 new 4-player dungeons: Castle Thorn and Stone Garden.
- The next installment of the ongoing Dark Heart of Skyrim storyline.
- New rewards including sets, achievements, and collectible items.
- New Character Pathing tool for the Housing System.
- Performance improvements and bug fixes.
This DLC pack is released free for all current ESO Plus members or can be purchased with crowns and downloaded from the in-game Crown Store.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Stonethorn DLC
The threat of the Gray Host persists following the Greymoor events, with new dangers emerging from dungeons and hidden places. In The Elder Scrolls Online: Stonethorn, challenge yourself and your group with 2 exciting new dungeons: Castle Thorn and Stone Garden. As part of the Dark Heart of Skyrim, Stonethorn sets the stage for upcoming Q4 DLC events and concludes the year-long adventure.
Stone Garden Dungeon
What new disasters is the mad alchemist Arkasis brewing inside the mysterious laboratory of Stone Garden? Dare to venture into Blackreach, explore Arkasis's horrific creations, fight your way to defeat his army of minions, and stop his dreadful experiments before he unleashes a new terror threatening the people of Western Skyrim.
Castle Thorn Dungeon
Nestled amidst the mountains of Western Skyrim, Lady Thorn has cultivated a fearsome army of vampires behind sturdy fortress walls and prepares to march into Tamriel. You must infiltrate Castle Thorn, uncover the dreadful secret behind this uprising force, and confront the ancient vampire lord lurking within.
These two dungeons will challenge your team in intriguing ways and offer plenty of rewards in the form of gear sets, monster masks, items, and achievements.
Both dungeons feature normal and veteran difficulties, and if you're looking to test your skills and team spirit, Stone Garden allows you to try the Hard Mode version with 3 powerful bosses. Good luck!
Explore Stonethorn and receive a unique pet
After gaining access to the Stonethorn dungeons, you can continue your Dark Heart of Skyrim journey through the following ways:
- Instantly teleport directly to both dungeons from the map.
- Utilize the Dungeon Finder tool.
- Head to the dungeon entrances in Western Skyrim (Castle Thorn) and Blackreach (Stone Garden).
Simply stepping into these two new dungeons will earn you the Energetic Dwarven Shock-Spider pet.
Update 27 Patch Notes
Released alongside Stonehorn, Update 27 brings numerous new features and improvements free of charge for all ESO members.
Character Pathing Tool
With the newly added Character Pathing tool in the Homestead System, you can now assign paths for pets, mounts, and assistants to follow you everywhere in your home, making everything more lively. You can even specify speed, set wait times, and choose whether you want them to return along the same path.

Continue your Dark Heart of Skyrim adventure with Stonethorn and thwart two new deadly threats before they can act in the lands of Western Skyrim.
