From various needs but all aiming to protect health, save costs, and create private spaces while traveling, numerous unique designs and inventions have emerged worldwide, attracting great interest from curious travelers eager to experience something new.

Accessories named 'b-tourist' are peculiar devices made of an elastic fabric stretched between the two ends of airplane seat headrests, allowing passengers to quietly eat, read, watch movies, and sleep in their own 'territory' without disturbance. These accessories come with two plastic rings, enabling you to adjust the width of the band on both sides, creating a completely private area. Additionally, this band is designed with a built-in pouch where you can store your small belongings.
Created by Idan Noyberg and Gal Bulka, graduates from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Israel, this band is said to be compact and suitable for certain airplane seats.

While this may be seen as a clever design, it also poses several inconveniences: The band may block the TV screen, preventing passengers sitting behind from viewing it, and it may hinder passengers inside when they need to stand up to use the restroom or simply in emergency situations.
In addition to bands like these 'b-tourist' accessories, a plethora of other 'eccentric' accessories have also been widely used in recent years. In early May 2014, the American brand Scotteves introduced a women's jacket with 18 pockets, allowing you to carry essential devices for travel, including two mobile phones, a digital camera, iPad, water bottle, keys, passport, ID card, and USB.

Andrew Gaule – a traveler and business consultant from England, expressed complete frustration with the exorbitant luggage fees. Consequently, he invented a jacket named Rufus Roo. This jacket is designed with numerous pockets and large armholes, allowing you to stash anything you want, although wearing it might make you appear bulky and not very 'elegant.'

In 2012, the designers at Kawamura-Ganjavian created a special pillow called the Ostrich Pillow, a portable accessory with the aim of 'facilitating a power nap anytime, anywhere,' whether you're in an airport lounge or on a plane, to help travelers avoid the fatigue associated with long flights.

This unique pillow has a structure resembling a 'cave' where you can bury your head, with an added hole at the mouth to allow for easy breathing.
Also in early 2012, travelers to the crowded beaches of Hainan Island, China, were astonished to see people wearing face-kinis to shield their faces from the sun. This accessory covers the entire face except for the eyes, nose, and mouth, often worn with long-sleeved shirts or full-body swimsuits like diving suits, to completely block the sun and prevent tanning.
