1. Tao Dan Park Spring Flower Festival
Every Lunar New Year, the Tao Dan Park Spring Flower Festival in Ho Chi Minh City becomes a popular destination for both locals and tourists. During the Lunar New Year, the Vietnamese have a tradition of going on spring outings to enjoy the lively and festive atmosphere. One of the most famous spring outing destinations in Ho Chi Minh City is the Phu My Hung Spring Flower Festival.
This year, the Phu My Hung Spring Flower Festival for the Year of the Dragon will take place from February 24 to February 13, 2024, with the theme "Spring Reunion." Emphasizing the preservation and promotion of traditional culture, the festival's grand and miniature displays are designed in classical style, decorated with floral patterns, and inspired by various Vietnamese legends and folk symbols.
The highlight of the festival is the 200-meter-long "Flower Boulevard" adorned with hundreds of vibrant flowers such as chrysanthemums, peach blossoms, apricots, lilies, and orchids. This is one of the most beloved features among visitors.

3. Thao Dien Spring Flower Festival
Every Lunar New Year, the people of Vietnam joyfully welcome the arrival of spring with hopes and excitement for the year ahead. One of the must-do activities during Tet is visiting flower markets and purchasing Tet flowers.
This year, Thu Duc City will host the very first Thao Dien Spring Flower Festival at the Thao Dien Night Street. This cultural and tourism event will help promote the city's image to both local and international visitors.
The Thao Dien Night Street, the first of its kind in Thu Duc City, is located along a section of Xuan Thuy Street, connecting to Quoc Huong and Nguyen Van Huong Streets. The 465-meter-long street features several sections, including areas for dining, shopping, entertainment, and cultural activities.
During the Lunar New Year, the Thao Dien Spring Flower Festival will display hundreds of Vietnamese flowers and plants, such as apricot blossoms, peach blossoms, chrysanthemums, and marigolds. Additionally, there will be many imported flowers from countries like Japan, Korea, and China.
