2. Grudge – Expected Release: January 3, 2020
Deadline reported on Monday that the Hollywood remake of The Grudge (also known as Mối hận thù truyền kiếp or Lời nguyền in Vietnamese) will now premiere on January 3, 2020, instead of the originally planned June 21, 2019. The film was first adapted into a live-action version in 2004 by the US.
Directed by Nicholas Pesce, the film stars Demian Bichir and Andrea Riseborough in leading roles.
The Grudge tells the story of a curse born out of extreme anger or sorrow when someone dies.
