The actor was born in Cholon, Ho Chi Minh City. His parents were Cantonese merchants who migrated to Vietnam for business. Lu Luong Vy and his four siblings grew up in Ho Chi Minh City until the age of 10, when the family returned to Hong Kong (China).
With rugged looks, masculinity, and captivating acting skills, Lu Luong Vy is one of TVB's most renowned 'big brothers.' Besides portraying Trien Chieu, the actor has participated in numerous major projects such as The Greatness of Hoang Phi Hong, The Legend of the Condor Heroes, New Water Margin,...
