Covering an area of 1.5 hectares, the Thương Garden at Tuyen Lam Lake is a model garden that includes a separate area for growing medicinal plants. Here, you'll find over 500 types of precious medicinal herbs like Vân Chi, Lingzhi mushroom, Sweetgrass, and especially Ngoc Linh ginseng amidst a peaceful and cool environment. Lavender Garden
The first and only lavender garden in Dalat is located in the flower village of Van Thanh, about 1 km from the intersection to Ta Nung and Suoi Vang. Within the garden, there's an outdoor planting area of up to 1,000 m², featuring three main lavender varieties: Lavandula dentata, Lavandula ‘Goodwin Creek Grey’, and Lavandula stoechas. Visiting hours are after 4:30 PM from Monday to Friday and all day on Saturday and Sunday. You can purchase potted plants or freshly cut branches as gifts or home decorations and receive guidance on how to care for them. Lavender should be grown at temperatures below 30°C, avoiding excessive watering that could cause diseases and lead to root damage or plant death.
