It's reported that the new frame will provide improved durability and resilience compared to the previous generation. And according to recent leaks, despite being made of a tougher material, this flagship model won't weigh more.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra is slated to be lighter than the S23 Ultra despite featuring a titanium frame.According to leaker Ice Universe (@UniverseIce), the Galaxy S24 Ultra weighs just 233g, which is 1g lighter than the S23 Ultra with its Armor Aluminium frame. Despite using thicker and tougher materials, Samsung's next flagship is even lighter. If this information holds true, it suggests that the Korean company has put significant technical effort into achieving this improvement. The phone is rumored to have a similar design to the S23 Ultra, so we can expect it to be protected by Gorilla Glass on both the front and back, as well as an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Other rumored features of the Galaxy S24 Ultra include a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with Quad-HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will boast a 200MP ISOCELL HP2 primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 50MP telephoto camera (3x optical zoom), and a 10MP telephoto camera (10x optical zoom). With larger telephoto camera sensors and significantly higher resolutions, Samsung's next flagship is said to offer 5x zoom capability with optical quality thanks to sensor cropping technology.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra is rumored to come in two variants, utilizing either the Exynos 2400 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets. It will feature a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
