Apple has enhanced its Mac lineup with self-developed Apple Silicon processors, and the next device in line for an upgrade from the tech giant is the iMac Pro, expected to debut in the coming months.
According to the latest information from Mark Gurman in Bloomberg's Power On newsletter, the upcoming iMac Pro from Cupertino tech giant will feature a new design and upgraded technical specifications.
Sources suggest that the 27-inch iMac Pro will have a design similar to the M1-equipped 24-inch iMac. There have been leaks indicating that the new iMac Pro could be equipped with a mini LED display and support a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
On the other hand, the upcoming iMac Pro is expected to be equipped with the newly announced M1 Pro and M1 Max processors by Apple, which are also featured in the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models released last year. Although Apple has not officially commented on the new iMac Pro model, rumors suggest that the product could be launched in early 2022, at the spring event.
In addition to the iMac Pro, the company is also rumored to release several new products this year, including AirPods Pro 2, the M2 processor, new MacBook models equipped with the latest processors, and more.
