Tech outlet 9to5mac has just shared with us some rumors about the new MacBook Pro running on the Apple M2 chip. This is the promising successor to the MacBook Pro equipped with the Apple M1 chip, which was introduced in November 2020.
Analyst Mark Gurman has his own expectations for the new MacBook Pro:
'I hope this new MacBook Pro will rival the high-end model by ditching the Touch Bar. However, the main differences will be in the display, processor, lower memory capacity, and the absence of ProMotion and miniLED technology. The MacBook Pro is one of several Mac machines equipped with the M2 chip, including refreshed versions for the 24-inch iMac, entry-level Mac mini, and revamped MacBook Air.'

Apple is nearing the end of its two-year transition from Intel chips to in-house silicon, with plans to unveil a range of new Mac machines in 2022.
