Snip & Sketch, formerly known as Screen Sketch, is an application that allows users to capture screenshots and provides built-in editing and cropping options on Windows. Users can activate the app by pressing the Windows + Shift + S key combination.
The Windows 10 Screen Sketch app has been renamed to Snip & Sketch.
Despite being renamed to Snip & Sketch on the Microsoft Store, the app remains listed under its old name, Screen Sketch. Consequently, two scenarios could unfold: Microsoft may opt for the name Snip & Sketch or retain the original app name without modification.
In addition to the name change, another noteworthy change is that the app now allows users to select to capture a screenshot after 3 to 10 seconds. These options are named Snip in 3 seconds or Snip in 10 seconds respectively, and are available in the New menu as depicted below.
With this new release, the app version has been elevated to Snip & Sketch build 10.1807.2286.0.
