The Winter 2021 VCS is causing significant discomfort among viewers due to constant bugs and remakes.
Yesterday, on 07/12, the Winter 2021 VCS unexpectedly encountered some issues. The first case came from Burst The Sky Esports. Just before the scheduled match (against SBTC Esports at 4:00 PM), Burst The Sky notified the VCS organizers of connectivity issues, hence unable to compete. Since the Winter 2021 VCS is being held online, if a team's gaming house faces issues like internet connectivity problems, the match will be postponed. VCS organizers resolved that SKY will play against SE at 8:00 PM on 12/12, and all matches scheduled for the same day will be moved to 2:00 PM.

Next, in game 1 of the match between Team Flash and GAM Esports, for unknown reasons, the game was suddenly remade. At that moment, GAM had a considerable advantage. After the remake, GAM went through a somewhat more challenging early game phase. However, due to their expertise and superior skills, GAM prevented TF from securing any victories, resulting in a final defeat for TF with a score of 0-2.

Witnessing the Winter 2021 VCS facing numerous issues, the Vietnamese LoL community has shown dissatisfaction. Previously, many viewers complained about the cameraman failing to capture crucial moments in the match or showing highlights too slowly, causing viewers to miss subsequent plays. This was also explained by the current pandemic situation, with the VCS organizers facing staff shortages while VCS is known for its continuous action-packed gameplay.

Many viewers have directly visited the BTC VCS fan page to voice their complaints. Some even failed to maintain composure and declared that the 'quality of the tournament is deteriorating'.

In reality, the Winter 2021 VCS serves solely to provide teams with a tournament to compete in during the 2021 season, following the cancellation of the Summer 2021 VCS due to the complex progression of the pandemic. Additionally, with VCS absent from MSI 2021 and Worlds 2021, the Winter 2021 VCS acts as a 'lifeline' for the teams because, as GAM's COO Izumin asserted, without the tournament, the teams would not be able to survive.

Due to the rushed organization, it's difficult to avoid the emergence of numerous issues in the tournament. Furthermore, the constant matches and frequent changes in applied updates also make it challenging for gamers to keep up, adapt to the meta, resulting in a decline in the quality of the matches. Alongside the teams and players, the audience is also a 'victim' as they have to watch matches with a level of professionalism that doesn't truly meet expectations.
