E3 officially calls it quits.

As per the latest announcement from the organizing committee, the world's largest gaming extravaganza - E3 will officially cease operations from this year 2023. The President and CEO of ESA, Stanley Pierre-Louis, stated:
“After over two decades of hosting the event considered as the epicenter of global and US electronic gaming industry introductions, the Entertainment Software Association has decided to conclude E3. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the producers, sponsoring brands, and above all, the community of millions of gamers worldwide.
... It's tough to bid farewell, but this is the moment for it to happen. E3's closure presents new opportunities for larger events in the gaming industry in the future'.

It is well-known that the E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) event is one of the biggest and most significant events in the gaming industry. Organized annually, E3 focuses on introducing and showcasing new trends, new game projects, and the most advanced technologies.
E3 held its inaugural event in 1995 and is managed by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA). ESA serves as the representative organization for the gaming industry. The E3 event is typically held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California, USA. However, in some years, E3 may take place at alternate venues.
The most recent E3 event took place in the summer of 2023. This marked the first event organized after a 3-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, it also signifies the final E3 event before the expo officially ceases operations.
