In a recent discovery, the Galaxy S24 has achieved safety certification through the Korean Institute for Research & Testing. This indicates Samsung's readiness to introduce its new Galaxy S24 series.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra is poised to debut soon with numerous improvements and upgrades.In the latest certification, the Galaxy S24 Ultra appears with the model number SM-S928N, indicating it's a variant for the Korean market. It's known that all devices sold in Korea must pass KC and Korean Institute for Research & Testing certifications. The tested devices are manufactured by Samsung Electronics' Gumi plant in Kyungbuk province and the Thai Nguyen plant in Vietnam.
Last month, the S Pen for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, with model number EJ-PS928, received certification from the National Radio Research Agency. The phone also obtained Anatel certification on October 24th.
Rumors suggest that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will sport a design similar to its predecessor. However, Samsung is rumored to bring some enhancements, including slimmer and more uniform bezels. Furthermore, the next flagship model from the Korean company will feature a flat screen with a slight curvature towards the glass edge meeting the titanium frame.
In terms of specifications, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to feature an AMOLED display with a brightness of 2,500 nits, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, up to 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of internal storage, setting four cameras on the rear with a 200MP main sensor, 5x telephoto camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging speed.
