As we near the end of August, we step into Q4/2021, the pinnacle of year-end shopping festivals. Smartphone companies are preparing to launch their newest products.

Certainly, alongside that, users can hardly expect too much from the new iPhone models when leaked information suggests they won't bring significant breakthroughs in exterior design. Nevertheless, features like the powerful Apple A15 chip, larger battery capacity, improved camera cluster, etc., remain eagerly anticipated by users.

Users hope that Apple won't raise prices for their iPhones this year. And the good news is that reputable sources predict that the price of the iPhone 13 lineup this year will be similar to its predecessor, the iPhone 12.
2. Apple iPad mini 6th generation with a fresh design
Apart from the iPhone 13 series, the next iPad mini is also expected to debut in Q4/2021 to coincide with the year-end shopping season in many countries.

According to longstanding rumors, the iPad mini 6 is set to feature a fresh design, aligning with recent iPad Pro and iPad Air models. Expectations include the removal of the Home button, relocation of Touch ID to the side, slimmer bezels all around, squared-off frame, new color options, and support for Apple Pencil 2.

The latest generation of iPad mini was introduced back in 2019. If Apple intends to continue the iPad mini line, now would be an opportune moment. With its compact size and an affordable price range hovering around 400 - 500 USD, the iPad mini has always been a convenient entertainment and learning tool, especially in times of remote schooling like the present.
Many speculations suggest that both the iPhone 13 and iPad mini 6 will be unveiled as scheduled around mid-September 2021. Let's eagerly anticipate what surprises Apple's biggest event of the year will bring!
3. Vivo unveils its flagship X70 Series and the budget-friendly Y21 lineup
No need for extensive introduction to the renowned Vivo X Series, famous for its unique Gimbal camera system in collaboration with Zeiss. This year's end marks the announcement of the X70 series, continuing the success of its predecessor, the X60.

The X series remains Vivo's top-tier flagship lineup, so expect the X70 series to feature the best Vivo has to offer. From design, performance, software, to the renowned Gimbal camera system. Recent information suggests Vivo may partner with MediaTek to bring the latest Dimensity chipset to the X70 series instead of Snapdragon as before.

However, the growing prowess of Dimensity is gaining recognition among users, and considering the X series typically offers multiple models, it remains to be seen how Vivo will decide. Let's wait and see.
Next up is the recently unveiled Vivo Y21, which is likely to be widely available in September in various markets, possibly including Vietnam. The Y series always serves as Vivo's main volume driver in developing markets, so there's no doubt Y21 will come with an attractive price point, making it easily accessible.

A quick overview of the Y21 reveals design cues borrowed from high-end devices, standout square camera module, 6.51-inch display, powered by Helio P35, and a promising 5,000mAh battery, making it a formidable contender in the sub-5-million segment.
4. Xiaomi Redmi 10 - The upcoming behemoth heading to Vietnam
Following the tremendous success of the Redmi Note 10 series, Xiaomi will introduce the highly enticing Redmi 10 series to users by the year's end. They will be smaller variants but will match their predecessors in every aspect.

The Redmi 10 series inherits design language from the previous Redmi Note 10 5G, highlighted by a striking camera module that's quite different from the Redmi 9, featuring a straight-line camera setup in the middle. Additionally, the Redmi 10 will boast the powerful Helio G88 processor, a significant upgrade from its predecessor.

Farewell to the waterdrop notch, Xiaomi has finally embraced the punch-hole display for its entire product lineup, delivering a premium experience for the Redmi 10.
Moreover, it's almost certain that this model will officially arrive in our country soon as genuine products, with the price expected to remain favorable as usual (the entire Redmi 9 series was priced under 5 million VND). Get ready for some serious competition in the year-end shopping season!
