This summer in Mui Ne, tourists will discover a new form of entertainment - the captivating Fishermen Show - Legend of the Fishing Village on a water music stage.
This summer in Mui Ne, it's a must to witness the Fishermen Show at least once.
The Fishermen Show - Legend of the Fishing Village unveils a new performance, a unique artistic space representing the cultural fusion of the Kinh and Cham peoples in Phan Thiet. The program draws inspiration from the Phan Thiet fishing village in 1762.

The show narrates the legend of Mr. Nam Hai, who was lost at sea in Phan Thiet. His body was enshrined at Vạn Thủy Tú, while his sea spirit transformed into a compassionate fisherman who understood and rescued people in peril on the sea. The locals reverently call him the Great Admiral of the Southern Seas.
In this legendary tale, the fisherman transcends time and space to experience the simple lives of the local people through fish markets and sweat on white salt fields. He wanders into the Cham village with the ancient Poshanu tower, immerses himself in Shiva's worship dances, and finds love with a Cham girl on the flying sand dunes of Mui Ne. Touched by his wife's songs wishing for his safe return during stormy sea journeys, the fisherman aids the local fishermen in need. The festival honoring Nam Hai, the great admiral, at Vạn Thủy Tú in Phan Thiet concludes with beliefs in the ocean's protection, opening up a prosperous and joyful life in this land filled with love.

This is the only show in Vietnam where professional contemporary dancers and local artisans utilize traditional musical instruments and live singing alongside water technology, flying rigs, LED screens, and sand dunes, even ox carts, creating a grand and lively performance.

With the Fishermen Show, audiences can both experience the cultural essence of Phan Thiet and enjoy world-class artistic performances, worthy of being a 'must-see' show when visiting Mui Ne, Phan Thiết.

With English narration (with Vietnamese, Russian, and Chinese subtitles) between performances and emotional expressions through contemporary dance, even international tourists can easily appreciate the remarkable artistic content of this show... The producers have invested rigorously in every detail, from actors' costumes to props, showcasing the skilled craftsmanship and high aesthetics of both local and international designers.

The stage decoration inside and outside recreates the scene of Phan Thiet Fishing Village with artistic human-like sculptures simulating fishermen and boats made from bronze, which are very unique and attract many viewers for memorable photos.
