In actuality, interacting with countless businesses, those who dare to leave their studies for work all demonstrate exceptional leadership capabilities. It took over a decade of observation for me to believe this.
I won't be receiving a graduation certificate, said the principal.
Yes, could you give me a movie ticket instead of the certificate? The certificate holds no meaning for the job, so what's the point of having it? A movie ticket brings immediate joy.
I was scolded by the principal, but still felt happy. The significance lies in the new job.
That's a very interesting excerpt from Soichiro Honda's autobiography.
Individuals who dare to leave their studies for work all possess outstanding leadership abilities.
In reality, interacting with thousands of businesses, those who dare to leave their studies for work consistently demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities (excluding those who drop out for leisure or laziness). It took over a decade of observation for me to believe this.
Conversely, those who persist solely for a certificate often lag behind, complain, lack confidence, and struggle to integrate socially (excluding those who receive support, just needing the certificate).
On a societal scale, according to the Pareto Principle 20/80, we still see that 20% of individuals with competence generate 80% of social productivity. The top 10% of talent determines the direction of organizations. The top 5% lead this world. And the top 1% hold the most valuable assets.
Typically, the majority groups of 80%, 90%, 95%, 99% always dominate, very noisy, and filled with prejudices.
Conversely, the minority groups of 20%, 10%, 5%, 1% think differently and dare to act to create value.
Therefore, individuals like Võ Trọng Nghĩa or Đặng Lê Nguyên Vũ, ultimately, they haven't harmed anyone, but have generated a lot of good and unique values for life. Taxes are still paid, companies flourish.
While the general public group easily understands each other, gathering and exchanging ideas; the 1%, 5%, 10%, 20% group engages less in exchange, harder to persuade, and also lacks the time to persuade the 80%, 90%, 95%, 99% group. Their thinking is not easily understandable or expressible to others. Perhaps they also don't want to explain in detail, that's how they've been their whole lives. Focused on thinking differently, and making efforts to execute. Think 1, do 9. Why insist on them explaining anything?
Certainly, not always the 1%, 5%, 10%, 20% group is right. But shouldn't they have the right to be wrong? They are just humans after all. As long as they don't harm anyone, it's fine. Letting them live their own lives benefits society more than forcing them to conform to the crowd.
Live and let live. I live so others can live. The world is vast, no one should be forced to be like me, to follow me. There's no need to scrutinize and judge others too harshly unless there's direct harm. It might be more comfortable and reasonable for everyone that way.
Writing joyfully in the morning from a self-aware, self-educating perspective, without any intention to refute or criticize anyone. Just seeing it that way.
