The inaugural flight of Tigerair Taiwan from Taipei International Airport, Taipei City, Taiwan (China), touched down at Da Nang International Airport on the evening of December 24, marking its market entry.

On December 24, the first flight of Tigerair Taiwan, carrying 170 passengers, landed at Da Nang International Airport. This was the maiden voyage on the Taipei – Da Nang route and the first venture of Tigerair Taiwan into the Vietnamese market. The Taipei – Da Nang route operates two flights every Wednesday and Saturday.

Since reopening international routes connecting Taiwan and Da Nang, this coastal city has consistently seen a rise in tourist arrivals from Taiwan. Currently, Taiwan ranks among the top international tourist markets for the tourism industry in Da Nang.
