A key feature of TikTok is the ability to respond to comments with videos instead of text, offering a more detailed feedback. This has increasingly become an integral part of the user experience on the platform, and TikTok is now providing creators with a more direct method to interact with their fans.
The video social media platform has confirmed that they are testing a new Q&A feature. Similar to the ability to respond to comments with videos, this experimental feature allows creators to answer fan questions in either text or video format. Social media consultant Matt Navarra first discovered the feature and shared some screenshots on Twitter.
Imagine the new Q&A feature is available, you can ask questions as comments by tapping the Q&A button next to the emoji icon in the comment section. If you want to send a question directly to a specific creator, you can also click on the Q&A link on their profile page. Then, all these questions will be compiled in one place where creators can easily see them.
This is an exciting way to boost fan interaction and maximize connections within the app. Maximizing connections between creators and fans can bring many benefits to TikTok. For example, it increases interaction between fans and creators, and keeps them coming back to the app more often. Additionally, it can help creators strengthen their following, which is significant for influencer marketing partnerships and community development in the future.
Currently, this feature is only available to select users, including creators from TikTok's Creative Learning Fund program and those with public Creator Accounts with over 10,000 followers, provided they opt in to test this feature in the settings.
