Just follow this trick and you won't experience car sickness on long journeys - pocket it now.
Here are some small tips to prevent car motion sickness without using medication
Practice and adhere to the rules: Sit in the same direction as the car (face the direction of travel, never sit facing backward), avoid lying down. Keep your eyes on the road through the windshield, observe traffic situations on the road, imagine as if you are driving. Limit looking through the window, avoid focusing on objects moving too close, continuous gaze can cause dizziness.
Avoid sitting at the back of the car. Opt for a seat on the axle/beam behind the car, as this position experiences less sway when the car turns. Stuff cotton into both ears for a much more comfortable experience without the noise of the engine rumble.

- When the car brakes, inhale slowly, take deep breaths
until both lungs are fully expanded, hold your breath, do not exhale hastily. Keep your
breath until the car slows down completely and starts moving steadily, then exhale gently.
Follow this with a few more deep breaths.- Avoid lowering the windows and prefer air-conditioned
vehicles. Lowering the windows may let in gasoline fumes. If the air conditioner has an
unpleasant odor, use oranges or pears to eliminate the smell. Refrain from reading anything
on your hand (books/newspapers/mobile phones/laptops...), and minimize texting as these
actions make the vestibular system work harder than usual. If you need to make a call, it
is permissible.
This technique is crucial; many people prone to motion sickness have vomited when the car brakes suddenly or comes to a complete stop to pick up passengers. Inhaling deeply and exhaling slowly helps the body get more oxygen, holds the breath, and serves as a trick to reduce the sensitivity of the vestibular system.

- The method of wrapping a dry towel to keep warm from the back to the front of the chest is also a very effective measure to prevent motion sickness for some people (more than 90% effective).
- Try some folk remedies: sniffing lemons, oranges, mandarins, ginger, bread... you can smell, nibble, or suck on when feeling nauseous.
- According to traditional wisdom, take half a sweet potato, peel it, wash it thoroughly, cut it into small pieces, chew or swallow the water to help prevent motion sickness.
- According to traditional Chinese medicine, about 30 minutes before departure, consume a piece of fresh ginger about the size of your thumb. Peel it, wash it, crush it, or chew it, then drink it with a cup of warm water. During the journey, occasionally keep a small piece in your mouth.
- Before getting on the vehicle, drink a warm water with vinegar. This can also help prevent motion sickness. Additionally, you can take a pain relief patch and apply it to the coccyx before boarding, which can further prevent motion sickness more effectively.
