Step 1: To create AutoText in Word 2013, firstly highlight the text you want to save as AutoText, then go to Insert > Choose Text (with the letter A) > then select Quick Part > and click on Save selection to Quick Part Gallery.
Step 2: To successfully create AutoText in Word 2013, pay attention to the following points:
- Name: the abbreviation you want to use for the highlighted text.
- Gallery: the execution section, by default, it must be set to AutoText.
Step 3: Type the letter T1 and then press F3 on your keyboard.
The system will automatically display the abbreviation you set up instead of the character T1.
And that's it! You have successfully created AutoText in Word 2013.
Step 4: Additionally, you can edit AutoText anytime under Text > select Quick Part then choose Building Block Organizer.
