March is the time when ban flowers bloom white in the forest. Around March 26th is the Het Cha festival.
October - December: White mustard flowers and wild sunflowers bloom profusely.
Around April to August: The climate is much cooler than in Hanoi, though there are no flowers, but there are plums and cherries for you to pick (from April to June).
Early September hosts a grand Independence Day celebration, attracting both local and foreign Mong people to participate.
