When using a computer, any web service or software that requires you to log in will be stored in different partitions on the computer. To ensure information security, passwords are encrypted. This article will guide you through some tools to manage encrypted passwords on a Windows laptop.
Using Windows Credential Manager
To launch the program, press the Start button on Windows, type in the phrase “Credential Manager” to open the program

Here, you can store and manage passwords saved in both Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge browsers
To display saved passwords, click Show next to the Password field, and the system will prompt you to enter your Windows password to show the passwords

Step 1: Click on the Options icon in the top-right corner of the browser, select Settings
Step 2: Look for the Manage Password option
Step 3: A list of saved passwords will appear, click Show to display the passwords. Similarly to above, you also need to enter your Windows password first.
Using third-party software to manage passwords
With the above methods, not all passwords are displayed. We need to use more powerful software to find encrypted passwords.
