Step 3: Navigate to the Backup section, choose the storage area 'This computer,' and click the Back Up Now button to create a backup of all data on your computer.

After completion, you can use your iPhone normally without the need for a passcode.
Method 2: Remove the password using Recovery Mode
Step 1: Connect your iPhone to the computer via USB cable and launch iTunes.
Step 2: Press and hold the Power button until the slider appears > Slide to power off > Wait 5 seconds for the device to shut down completely.
Step 3: Put your iPhone into DFU mode by simultaneously holding the Power + Home buttons for about 10 seconds. When the screen lights up displaying the familiar Apple logo, release the Power button but continue holding the Home button until iTunes shows a notification as seen below.
Step 4: In iTunes, hold down the Shift key and click Restore iPhone.
Step 5: At this point, you'll have 2 options:
- If you left-click on Restore iPhone: the device will be updated to the latest firmware version (requires an internet connection on the computer)
- If you hold down the Shift key and click Restore iPhone, iTunes will prompt you to locate the firmware file that the device is using to restore the device.
After choosing one of the two options, the device will be restored from scratch, and you can set up your iPhone as a new device. For old data, you can restore it using iTunes or iCloud.
Method 3: Use iCloud to bypass iPhone password.
Step 1: Using any web browser, go to the iCloud management page HERE and log in to the iCloud account associated with the device you want to unlock the password for.
Step 2: Here, choose the Find iPhone option to unlock the iPhone password and disable the Find iPhone feature.
Step 3: The Find iPhone interface appears; click on All Device and select your device's name as shown below. At this point, we will see the system has located the current location of the device.
Step 4: In the dialog box on the right side of the browser, select Erase iPhone to remotely wipe the data. If you have backed up data to iCloud, you can restore the backed-up data and set a new password after clearing all data.
Step 5: A small dialog box appears asking you to confirm the process, press Erase to continue the process of erasing the iPhone as well as unlocking the iPhone password when forgotten.
Method 4: Unlocking with Touch ID.
Starting from iPhone 5S and onwards, devices have been equipped with the Touch ID feature. Instead of unlocking with a password, you can unlock the screen using Touch ID. If you forget the passcode, you can unlock the iPhone by utilizing the previously set Touch ID.
Step 1: Firstly, choose to unlock with Touch ID. Next, go to settings and find the Find my iPhone section and turn it off. Enabling this feature will require your iCloud password, so it's crucial to save and remember it (Refer to recovering a lost iCloud password if needed).
Step 2: Enter the iCloud password and completely disable the Find my iPhone feature.
Step 3: Connect the phone to the computer, open iTunes -> select restore iPhone to reinstall for the iPhone.
Step 4: When you finish, the passcode settings will be erased. Now, you need to set up the passcode for the iPhone again, as the iPhone is obliged to use a passcode that cannot be bypassed.
