1. Recommended Configuration for Warcraft 3:
- One way to avoid lag is by lowering the game settings to the minimum. Sometimes, this may not solve the issue, and you might need to upgrade your computer (PC) to meet the game's system requirements.
a) Minimum Requirements:
- Operating System: Supported by Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows XP or later versions
- Processor: 400Mhz Pentium II or equivalent processor
- Memory: 128Mb
- Graphics: 3D graphics card with Direcxt X 8.1 support and at least 8Mb memory
- Sound: 16bit sound card with Dirext X support.
- Storage: 700Mb free for Warcraft 3 ROC version and 1.4Gb for full installation of Warcraft 3: TFT.
- Input Devices: mouse and keyboard (Other devices such as joysticks, game pads, graphics tablets, or other input devices are not supported).
- Connection Link: For accessing Blizzard Entertainment's online system, a minimum of 28.8Kbps Internet connection or faster is required. Multiplayer LAN games require TCP/IP network support.
b) Recommended Configuration:

- Input Devices: mouse and keyboard (Other devices such as joysticks, game pads, graphics tablets, or other input devices are not supported)

2. If your system meets the game's requirements but still experiences lag, try disabling some game effects.
- Options and then Video. On the left side, drag all settings down and press OK
- If you're in-game, press F10 or click on Menu at the top left corner of the game screen

- Resize the game screen (from fullscreen to windowed fullscreen) and vice versa
- Close all unused or hidden applications
- Update any missing drivers.
