Microphones (mics) have become a common device for every computer. Mics can be used during online communication or interacting with specific functions on Windows 10. Sometimes, we accidentally disable the mic or want to make it visible in the device list but are unsure how to do so. Disabling Microphone on Windows 10
Step 1: Right-click on the sound icon on the taskbar, select Recording Device .
Step 2: Right-click on the Microphone device in the list, choose Disable .

Step 1: Perform the operation to open Recording Device as mentioned above.
