Ingredients Needed for Japanese Tofu Milk Hot Pot
- 400g Beef or Pork
- 100g Shiitake Mushrooms
- 100g Reishi Mushrooms
- 4 Shiitake Mushrooms
- 1/2 Bok Choy
- 100g Watercress
- 1 stalk Scallion
- 1 piece Firm Tofu
- 1/2 White Radish
- 1 Carrot
- 720ml Mushroom and Seaweed Broth
- 60ml Sake
- 60ml Mirin
- 480ml Soy Milk
- 4 tablespoons Miso Paste
- 2 tablespoons White Sesame Seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce

STEPS TO MAKE TOFU MILK HOT POT
Step 1. Prepare the hot pot broth
Pour 720ml mushroom and seaweed broth, 60ml sake, and 60ml mirin into a pot and bring to a boil.
Then add 480ml unsweetened soy milk, stir well, and continue simmering over low heat.
Toast white sesame seeds until golden brown, then grind into a fine powder.

When the broth is boiling, add 4 tablespoons of miso paste and 2 tablespoons of ground sesame seeds.
Season the broth to taste, adding a bit more salt for depth of flavor. Let it simmer for about 2 minutes, then turn off the heat.

Step 2. Prepare the dipping ingredients
Slice the meat thinly.
Trim the stems of shiitake mushrooms, reishi mushrooms, and shiitake mushrooms, then rinse and drain.
