Japanese fans conducted a poll to discover the most beloved 'tsundere' character.
The famous Japanese website Anime!Anime! conducted a survey with the question: 'Who is your favorite tsundere character?' to commemorate Japan's 'Salt Day (Shio no Hi).'
This day honors individuals with a cold exterior but are deeply caring, precisely the definition of 'tsundere' – someone outwardly cold and sophisticated yet emotionally rich and sensitive inside.
So why do tsundere characters have such allure for others?

The term 'tsundere' is extremely popular among those who read manga or watch films in Japan. Coined in 2002, it describes female characters in dating simulation games. In these games, players are challenged to win over initially fierce and arrogant girls who eventually transform into adorable, charming figures.
