1. Dak Ke Lake
Dak Ke Lake is one of the rare attractions in Mang Den, just about 1km from the main road. Have you ever heard of the legend of the 7 lakes and 3 waterfalls of Kon Tum? Dak Ke Lake is one of the 7 lakes from the legend, embodying the divine beings above. Although the area around the lake is being developed for tourism, the scenery remains pristine.
The emerald green lake surrounded by tall green trees, along with a few tall stilt houses and a small bridge crossing the lake, creates an extremely romantic scene. Typical of mountainous areas are the traditional stilt houses of the indigenous people, so there are many such houses around Dak Ke Lake. These houses are mainly built of wood and thatch, giving Dak Ke Lake a rustic and simple appearance.
At Dak Ke Lake, there are many entertainment services available for you to relax and enjoy, such as coffee shops, rowing boats, pedal boats, and camping. Additionally, if you visit Dak Ke Lake around January or February, you will have the opportunity to admire cherry blossoms blooming around the lake, reflecting on the water, beautiful and romantic like in Korean dramas.

2. Pa Sy Waterfall
Returning to the legend of the 7 lakes and 3 waterfalls, Pa Sy Waterfall is one of the 3 waterfalls mentioned, and the largest waterfall in this region. Stepping into the tourist area, you will encounter a garden of wooden sculptures with hundreds of unique wooden artworks created by the skilled hands of artisans. These wooden statues reflect the life and culture of the local ethnic minorities, such as a mother carrying her child, a family drinking wine, farming, and weaving fabric.
Passing through the three levels to reach Pa Sy Waterfall, you will feel like stepping into a fairy forest with cool air, the sound of rustling leaves, chirping birds, and the sound of the waterfall becoming clearer. After walking about 500 meters, crossing through the forest and down the rugged stone steps, Pa Sy Waterfall will gently and peacefully appear. Unlike other waterfalls in the Central Highlands, Pa Sy Waterfall has only one water branch, surrounded by lush greenery.
In general, Pa Sy Waterfall is the most developed tourist destination in Mang Den, with well-built pathways and clear directional signs. Moreover, the surrounding area is undergoing development to create a complete eco-tourism area with restaurants, accommodation, and scenic spots. Additionally, on the way back from Pa Sy Waterfall to your accommodation, you should take some time to explore the road with many abandoned villas nestled amidst the lush pine forest.

3. Suspension Bridge
Perhaps the suspension bridge is one of the distinctive features of Mang Den in particular, and Kon Tum in general, because it is very difficult to find a bridge built with reinforced concrete like usual. However, most suspension bridges in Mang Den are tiny, and there are clear regulations that only allow one motorcycle to pass at a time, and if walking, only under 10 people are permitted. Looking at the old, rusty suspension bridge may make you scared on your first visit, but it's okay, after a few times, you won't feel scared anymore. But remember to follow the bridge's regulations, okay!

Kon Tum dry season will welcome you with cool weather interspersed with gentle sunshine.

5. Konbring Village
From the main road, just turn right down the hill, and a sense of tranquility fills the air. The small village road will take you past stilt houses, golden rice fields, up to a high hill. This is one of the four community cultural tourism villages in Kon Plong district, with over 90% of the population being Mơ Nam ethnic people, mainly living off rice cultivation.
The most precious thing in this village is its children. Here, the little ones enjoy sitting in front of their houses, playing childhood games from a decade ago. The older kids prefer flying kites, and in the afternoon, the first kid in the village pedals their bike to invite the last one to play in an open space. Here, children don't know what a smartphone is; they only know mountains, flowers, leaves, and trees as their friends. Occasionally, when a few tourists approach, the children's eyes may show a bit of shyness and 'fear,' but deep down, they are eager to chat. So, just start a conversation, and they'll smile right away.

7. Fatima Statue
Fatima Statue in Măng Đen is a landmark, a Catholic pilgrimage site of the Kon Tum Diocese, located in Măng Đen town, Kon Plông district, Kon Tum province, next to National Highway 24, 53 km northeast of Kon Tum city. After the war, the statue was abandoned for a long time due to the lack of transportation routes and residents nearby. In the early 1980s, due to the influence of the New Economic Zones policy of the Vietnamese government, some residents living in the Măng Cành forest discovered this statue, but there was no special attention.
According to the records of Father Gioakim Nguyễn Hoàng Sơn, noting the conversation with Ms. Đào Thị Hương, who is believed to have been responsible for preserving the statue, until the beginning of 1987, the statue was still intact. However, by the end of 1987, the statue lost its head and hands, but the cause was unclear.
In 2002, Kon Plông district was newly formed by splitting the old Kon Plông district into the new Kon Plông district and Kon Rẫy district. The new district capital of Kon Plông was established in Măng Đen. National Highway 24 was also planned to be extended to be used as the main transportation route passing through the district and connecting to Mộ Đức district, Quảng Ngãi province. In 2004, when construction of this road began, road workers inadvertently found that the design overlapped with the statue's location, so they adjusted the road route to avoid harming the statue. Among the road workers was a Catholic believer named Hoàng, who voluntarily restored the head and hands.
The head was restored with a face that no longer resembled the typical Fatima Statue, but rather bore the likeness of a woman from the Central Highlands of Vietnam. However, it's unclear why the hands could not be restored. After restoration, the hands fell below the statue's feet. Therefore, the statue still retains a truncated appearance to this day. According to Father Phi Khanh Vương Hoàng Khởi, quoting documents provided by the Kon Tum Diocese, Father Gioakim Nguyễn Hoàng Sơn 'found a part of the hand and a part of the index finger of the Mother statue' on December 28, 2006, currently being kept at the Kon Tum Diocese. Perhaps this is the remaining part of the restored hands.

'Toong' in the language of the Mơ Nam ethnic group means a body of water.
