1. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a 2005 fantasy comedy film directed by Tim Burton, with a screenplay written by John August. The movie is based on Roald Dahl's 1964 novel of the same name. Johnny Depp stars as Willy Wonka, and Freddie Highmore plays Charlie Bucket.
The story follows a young boy named Charlie Bucket, who lives in a tiny, cramped house with his parents and grandparents. Due to their poverty, the family constantly struggles with food shortages and cold winters. Despite the hardships, Charlie always tries to save enough money to buy a chocolate bar, his favorite treat.
One day, Willy Wonka, the owner of the Wonka Chocolate Factory, announces that five golden tickets have been hidden inside the wrappers of his chocolate bars. The lucky finders of these tickets will be granted a tour of the chocolate factory and a year’s supply of free chocolate. It’s an incredibly enticing offer.
All the children in the town rush to the candy shops in hopes of finding one of the golden tickets. Charlie, too, wishes to participate but cannot afford to buy the chocolates. The search for the golden tickets becomes a thrilling race, with each child who finds a ticket becoming a media sensation. The lucky winners include Augustus Gloop, the gluttonous boy; Veruca Salt, the spoiled brat; Violet Beauregarde, the gum-chewing addict; and Mike Teavee, the television-obsessed child. Finally, only one ticket remains.
One day, while walking along the road, Charlie finds a 50-cent coin buried in the snow. He decides to spend it on a chocolate bar, hoping for a little luck. To his amazement, he wins the final golden ticket, the one that could change his life and help his family survive the harsh winter.


2. The Intern
The film tells the story of Jules Ostin (played by Anne Hathaway), the owner of a rapidly growing online fashion store called "About the Fit." Alongside her is intern Ben Whittaker (played by Robert De Niro), a 70-year-old widower who, despite his age, still wants to remain active in the workforce. Anne Hathaway revealed that at first, Jules was hesitant to hire Ben because she believed bringing an older man on board would slow things down.
However, throughout his internship, Ben becomes an inspiration not just to Jules, but also to her younger colleagues. The film explores the desire to contribute and stay productive even in retirement years, while also delving into the meaningful, ageless friendship between Ben and his young boss, Jules. Although Jules is a successful businesswoman with a strong personality, she often feels lost and overwhelmed by the demands of work and family life. During these challenging moments, Ben steps in as a wise advisor, a trusted friend who listens and helps Jules navigate through her difficulties.


3. We Can Be Heroes
We Can Be Heroes is a 2020 American superhero film written and directed by Robert Rodriguez. It serves as a standalone sequel to the 2005 film "The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D."
When alien invaders kidnap Earth's superheroes, their children are sent to a government safehouse. However, intelligent teen Missy Moreno is determined to rescue her father, Marcus Moreno, a superhero. She teams up with the other super-powered kids to escape from their mysterious government caretaker, Ms. Granada.
To save their parents, the kids must work together, using their unique abilities — from stretching and time control to future prediction — to create a team that’s out of this world.


4. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle follows four high school students who are given detention to clean the school's basement. There, they discover an old version of the classic game Jumanji.
Each student chooses a character to play as, and soon, they find themselves sucked into the game, inhabiting the appearance and abilities of their chosen avatars. They must then embark on dangerous yet thrilling adventures, facing surprising twists along the way. The film’s trailer teases a magical, captivating world filled with action-packed moments and hilarious scenarios. Unlike the 1995 film, the magical game doesn’t come into the real world, but instead, the players are pulled into it. How will they get back to reality?

5. Minions
Minions is a 3D animated comedy film directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda. Set before the time of Gru, this film takes a deeper look at the Minions' history, following their journey to find the perfect master. The Minions have been around since the age of T-Rex dinosaurs, and they've served the worst masters throughout history—from ancient pharaohs to the mighty Napoleon.
The yellow Minions' sole purpose is to serve the most villainous boss they can find. However, after a series of failed attempts, they have yet to find a lasting master—perhaps due to their own clumsy antics.
In 1968, three Minions—Kevin, Stuart, and Bob—travel to New York and Florida, hoping to find the perfect villain to serve. They hear about the notorious international villain, Scarlet Overkill, and believe she may be the one they’ve been searching for. 6. Hotel Transylvania 2
Hotel Transylvania 2 (2015) brings back familiar characters like Dracula (Adam Sandler), Mavis (Selena Gomez), Jonathan (Andy Samberg), Frank (Kevin James), Wayne Werewolf (Steve Buscemi), and Murray the Mummy (Keegan Michael Key). Army of Thieves is a German action-comedy and adventure film directed by Matthias Schweighofer. It features an ensemble cast including Matthias Schweighöfer, Nathalie Emmanuel, Ruby O. Fee, Stuart Martin, and Guz Khan. Set as a prequel to Army of the Dead, the story follows a small-town bank clerk, Dieter, who is pulled into a thrilling heist by a mysterious woman, Gwen. The Secret Life of Pets 2 is a fun-filled adventure that follows the lives of pets in the vast city of New York, where the animals experience their own versions of 'The Voice,' in a world where pets have more going on than their owners ever realize. Max, the lovable dog, is anxious about a visit to the vet, and the clinic only introduces more strange encounters. 10. Kung Fu Panda 3
Kung Fu Panda 3 is a 3D animated film produced by DreamWorks Animation and Oriental DreamWorks, released by 20th Century Fox. Directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson with Alessandro Carloni as co-director, the screenplay was written by Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger, and produced by Melissa Cobb.
The story continues from the previous film, where Po reunites with his long-lost father. The two journey to a hidden and unknown valley, where they discover a quirky community of pandas. However, their peaceful life is interrupted by a ruthless gang of blue-eyed buffaloes, who possess strange powers and are plotting to conquer the valley. Po and his father must confront this new enemy and defend their home.
