6. Love Live!
Love Live! (Rabu Raibu!) is one of the most famous school-themed anime. Despite being aired for many years, it remains a hot name, a highlight of the Anime Music genre.
Love Live begins with Otonokizaka - one of the long-standing academies forced to close due to a lack of students. In that situation, Kousaka Honoka - a student of the academy decided to form an idol group to save her school. Along with Minami Kotori and Sonoda Umi, she founded the school idol group named μ's and embarked on their own path.
The storyline of Love Live is quite fresh, creative, but not overly extravagant or dreamy. The content of the film is gentle, and everything conveyed is very authentic and cleverly done.
The plot progresses slowly, with reasonable distribution and arrangement of events. Each development follows a slow but steady rise in intensity. With both seasons receiving positive feedback - it's no coincidence that Love Live has become one of the rare anime where the second part is rated higher than the first. In the first season, the film mainly depicts the daily activities of the female characters, mainly focusing on how Honoka achieves her goals. But in the second season, what is described and refined is the emotions of the characters, each one by one. This sudden increase in emotional depth also elevates the viewers' emotional involvement. Perhaps it is because of this gradually increasing approach that Love Live is increasingly loved by many.
