Debate on Issue #9
To assess a country's development trends and future, it is essential to consider and evaluate various aspects and factors. However, one of the most decisive factors is the youth generation. The youth generation not only plays a vital role in building and developing society but also determines the prosperity or decline of a nation. Therefore, the youth generation and the nation's future are inseparable. The youth, or young age, constitutes a group of individuals in their adolescence, the most beautiful age of life, full of vigor and enthusiasm. They dedicate themselves entirely, dare to think and act, and are not afraid of difficulties. They represent the golden generation of a nation. The future of the country ahead is filled with difficulties and challenges, demanding different requirements at each stage of the nation's history. The youth, as the future owners of the nation, must timely grasp and continually strive to meet the country's development needs. Throughout history, the role of the youth in the nation's cause has been clearly demonstrated. Our country has gone through numerous struggles against invaders, with many generations of young people being soldiers, combatants, and youth volunteers who fought and sacrificed for national independence. Similar to the character Phuong Dinh in 'Distant Stars' or the young man in 'Silent Sapa,' they sacrificed their youth, dedicating their youth to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. It is thanks to this young generation that Vietnam today enjoys peace, independence, and freedom. Today, the youth do not have to live in war or fight enemies, but they bear a different responsibility: the responsibility of socio-economic development, building a prosperous nation, and protecting the country from hostile forces.

8. Persuasive Essay Paragraph 9
'Youth must be the backbone of the nation.' Uncle Ho's admonition clearly demonstrates the perspective on the role of the younger generation in the nation's construction and defense. To fulfill this noble mission, the generation needs to establish ideals, goals, and a righteous way of life for dedication. 'Dedication' is the expression of humans forgetting their own petty interests and mediocrity. Simultaneously dedicating all talents, intelligence, and strength to contribute to the common good, sacrificing the insignificant 'self' to serve the collective 'us.' The youth are a group of people with youthfulness and in the age of youth. They are always the symbol of vitality, of passion and burning aspirations. The relationship between dedication and the younger generation is dialectical: Dedication is one of the noble lifestyles that young people need, and young people only fulfill their duties when they strive for dedication. The young generation needs to cultivate, nurture, and cultivate a lifestyle of dedication. The lifestyle of dedication is reflected in the willingness to devote one's intellect and talent to serve the common interest, for the general development of the country. Therefore, to fully exploit their role and fulfill the lofty mission in the construction, defense, and elevation of the homeland, the younger generation needs to broaden their vision to establish righteous, noble ideals, stay away from selfish and mediocre lifestyles. At the same time, always carry within themselves the spirit of readiness to sacrifice and vigorously become pioneers to integrate their hearts, minds, and efforts into the collective 'us' of society, of the community.

10. Persuasive Essay Paragraph 10
In society, there exist both common and individual aspects, the 'I' and the 'we,' and dedication is most comprehensively understood as sacrificing one's personal ego for the collective 'we' of the community, society, discarding personal interests to pursue lofty, grand common interests, utilizing all one's abilities to serve the cause of development, defending the country; that is dedication. The dedication of the young generation not only has significant meaning in today's society but also crucially determines the destiny and future of the country because the young generation is the future owner of the country; if an owner does not sacrifice, devote oneself for their own country, then who else will? In wartime, the dedication of the young generation is voluntary spirit, patriotic love when volunteering for combat, ready to sacrifice themselves in battle, unafraid of hardship, unafraid of sacrifice, we can never forget the girl Vo Thi Sau who forever stopped at the age of 19, forgetting her dreams and aspirations, only for the purpose of regaining freedom for the Fatherland, she is considered a typical Heroic Martyr in the resistance against France. In peacetime, that dedication is somewhat 'sweeter,' it is the young generation that constantly learns, trains, competes on the international arena, and then brings back prestigious medals, affirming the country's position as a powerhouse in Asia, like the 19-year-old swimmer Nguyen Thi Anh Vien, the best Vietnamese athlete of Sea Games 30. In addition, there are many young people with declining, degenerate lifestyles, indulging in entertainment, forgetting their studies, these elements not only tarnish the society's image but also become worries, concerns of the community, unable to dedicate anything to the country, on the contrary, they hinder the country. That is a deviant lifestyle that needs to be condemned, criticized, and corrected in time, besides, it is necessary to eliminate that lifestyle from the current activities of today's youth. It is not necessarily to be excellent, beautiful, and successful before we dedicate ourselves to the country, but dedication lies in our daily actions, habits, it is constantly learning, training, accumulating, cultivating, and perfecting ourselves, becoming a good citizen contributing to enriching and beautifying society and the country.
