1. Reminiscence of That Summer
Recalling a childhood era
Together joyously walking to school
Even now, the pen hesitates to inquire
In the heart, the learning journey persists
The flamboyant branches flaunt their vibrant red
Whispering secrets, casting cool shade
For students to revise amidst the summer heat
Achieving results, teacher and students rejoice
Remembering the noble-minded student age
Success achieved, a reward from parents
Gratitude repaid to the teachers who guided us
A good student, a well-behaved child, the best combination
Parents raised their child amidst struggles
Bent over, digging and planting potatoes in the soil
Hoping for a peaceful and sufficient learning
Mother worries about three meals of potatoes
Summer returns, tears well up
Remembering unfulfilled promises to mother and teacher
Now expressed on this written page
Hoping for forgiveness from parents and teachers.

4. Remembering Summer
I hurriedly pass through the land of summer reminiscence!
The sunrays still uncertainly cling to my footsteps
The white robe on the road of flowers in a bygone season
Alone, I cherish the wind's fleeting embrace.
The phoenix still blooms in fiery red every returning season
We await each other amidst the melancholic cicada cries
A white butterfly loses its way in the grassy path
My eyelashes moist amidst the sudden midsummer drizzle.
The land of summer reminiscence is no longer as pristine
As the smile, the gaze of the days of yore
The wind whispers wildly, echoing desolation
The voice of time, parched, spills into the season.
The land of summer reminiscence sleeps buried in solitude
The dock of tender love, the sunbeams also wither thin
The wind wanders, seeking the white silk threads
Poetic love letters sent aloft to the clouds.
Countless seasons have yearned for the scent of flowing tresses
Half a lifetime of innocence still fumbles
The land of summer reminiscence remains silent and solitary
Faint and heavy, it hides in the corners of reverie.

5. Memories Lingering
Within memories ... bathed in summer sunlight
Notes of cicadas... endlessly sing their welcome
A palette of purple... in excitement swirls
Red phoenix blossoms... exquisitely sweet and fragrant
Those memories... inked in thoughtful green
Written down... in cherished diary pages
Each page pressed... with schoolyard memories
The day of farewell... a deeply cherished sorrow
Within memories... profound and intense
Forever surging... does anyone truly know?
A deep dream... awakens to eternal realms
Curiously strange... gazing at the moonlit night
Memories linger here... despite miles apart
Not dimming... the deep and warm affection
Still lingering... the warm embrace of first love
Still there... shoulders leaning, engraved with longing...

6. Arrival of Summer
The melodious call of the thrush,
Crimson phoenix ablaze under the summer sun.
The garden hums with cicada songs,
Verdant grass shivers along the riverbank.
Ponds, pink lotus blossoms bright,
Rice fields ripe, clouds drift in the sky.
The melodious flute fills the air,
The space bustling as summer days arrive.
Summer nights sway on hammocks,
Warm breezes from the south gently blow.
Ripe red lychees in the village orchard,
White storks perch on bamboo by the village.
Children rejoice as summer arrives,
School breaks into joyful chaos, summer's golden play!

7. Fond Memories of Old School
Each time the phoenix tree blooms
Cicadas' cries stir our hearts restlessly
It's been quite a while since leaving school
Yet childhood memories linger on
How can we forget our foolish moments?
Cheating during exams, copying friends' work
Remember the days of 'The greater the devil, the lesser the ghost'
Students, the third species, suffering under teachers' wrath
Remember the saying 'Eat the shell, study well'
Teachers nurture students to soar in life
For a hundred years, cultivating individuals
Teachers and students echo Uncle Ho's advice
Boats ferrying countless generations across the river
Guiding youthful spirits to blossom and thrive
Outstanding talents for the nation's future
Joining hands to build a prosperous homeland.
Poetry - Phạm Văn Nguyên

8. Oh, Summer
Summer arrives, golden sunshine gleaming
First fruits of the season spread their fragrance
Crimson phoenix ablaze in the schoolyard
Cicadas' song echoes hauntingly within
Stirring memories deep within the subconscious
Of schooldays carrying books to class
Friendship amidst turmoil and uncertainty
Parting goodbyes, the battlefield calls...
Oh, how can we forget these memories?
Hoping for a day to rewind childhood
But only in a dream
Fate has other plans, what more to await?
Overcoming challenges, unwavering determination
Upholding truth for life to rise
Love and friendship enduring
Poetry intertwined, ever more poignant!

9. Memories of Summer
Summer arrives, bathed in golden sunlight
Aflutter with memories stirring within
Who stands at the school gate, eagerly awaiting?
Dreaming of meeting under the crimson phoenix!
Summer arrives, the phoenix tree smiles
Clusters of red blooms with radiant freshness
Leaves basking under the sun's gaze
So many memories amidst life's commotion!
Cicadas' cries, a sweet melody
The schoolyard remembers days long gone
Remembering teachers, remembering dear friends
Immersed in peaceful study day by day!
Summer arrives, intensifying the longing
Together with notebook pages, early days with you
Summer arrives, warm memories embrace
So many reminiscences, each night they come alive!
Summer arrives, sending longing to the countryside
Purple Bang Lang beckoning you, oh beloved
Summer arrives, standing to greet the sky's breeze
A life filled with golden moments, warm and content!
Summer arrives, carrying dreams
My heart, stirred, turns to poetry for life
Sending messages to those at the end of the earth
The homeland still waits, oh beloved, remember to return..!

10. Gratitude to Teachers
Summer arrives, reminiscing over bygone days of books and lanterns
Homeland impoverished, worn and tattered
Dreams persist, but until when?
War's end brings warmth and nourishment
Winter comes, the body shivers in cold
To school in brown uniform
No scarf, hat to cover the head
Chilling wind, bare feet in sandals
Inside the classroom, eager to learn
Guided by teachers regularly
Teachers like loving mothers
Caring, assisting, teaching with utmost dedication
Unified, rejuvenated, the country progresses
Life blossoms, flourishing in abundance
Rural areas to cities, thriving
Day by day, developing, beautiful, strong, and prosperous
Old stories, though long, are still remembered
Gratitude to teachers, wholeheartedly devoted
Bond of gratitude engraved in the heart
Never forgetting the teachers' contributions..!
